I like having brothers who live near and ride bicycles! A nice benefit to living here! One of the four has been visiting for the Christmas holiday. He and I went cycling yesterday. Mountain bikes this time - allowing us to explore off the beaten track. A dirt road and then another...past an unattended sprawling home surrounded by a pine cone topped fence. More dirt paths leading to oranges and groves and nary a sign of people. Nice warm afternoon peddling in this no-where place on a lake, occassionally quenching our thirst with a sweet orange and wondering what stories this out-of-the-way land had to tell.
