Several months ago, Brett asked if I were 'on Facebook?" I wasn't. He was! Within an hour he'd shared all the benefits and encouraged me to join and then I, too, was a proud yet hardly informed member of this social networking site.

When you first sign in, the 'big brother' feel is off-putting. Facebook somehow grabs your computer's address book and if any of your contacts are on Facebook, their photo immediately shows up on your computer screen.

So there everyone was...........Blake, who I haven't spoken with in forever, Jonathon who is a guru of these things..... and of course Brett. And lots of others. It's actually a terrific way to stay in touch with the day to day of family, family of family - even friends of family. And wonderfully, a way to stay more connected with those who sometimes slip too far away.
