Hard day. Brutal winds. Probably around 20 mph for much of the ride. Left VA, through Maryland and Delaware. Missed the first ferry from Delaware; rushed for the second one (I sagged with Bobbie for 10 miles) to get there in time and now we are in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Martina and Robert, David and Michael, friends of Marty and Bobbie's, met us at the ferry with 'kudo signs' and we shared a couple of very enjoyable hours with them before heading to Atlantic City.
It's late; 100 plus miles tomorrow and meeting Marty's brother, Bruce, for the last 30 miles.. I've ordered dinner in; laundry beckons.
We've $15k to go on our fundraising goal. Hoping it starts to pick up as we get closer to the MMRF headquarters in Norfolk, CT and their press machine! To those who have contributed, mega thank you's! We truly are grateful.
